Heatlamp. Book a build week

We get food.

Websites, portals, motion and live menu data for restaurants, producers and suppliers. Tell us the dream on Monday, and by Friday you’re clicking through a working site.

Book a build week

Australia growsextraordinaryfood.

It deserves to be shown off by people who get food: who know truffles are dug in midwinter, the season’s first mangoes come from the Top End and Sydney rock oysters grow in the Clyde.

We love
it all.

Every single grower deserves an experience as good as their produce.

    We only workwith food.

Every build is backed by what Melbourne’s menus actually say: 800+ of them, read every month through MenuTrender. We know which dishes are rising, what they cost and whose name is on the plate.

We build it before the thought evaporates.

    By Friday, a link.

A working site at the end of your build week. Then it’s yours to change: press Edit, click any words and type. Merrow Hill is a farm we made up.

    Point at it.Say it.

Want something changed? Open the page, press Talk and point while you speak. Every “this” and “that” is pinned to what you pointed at, and the list lands with us ready to build.

Nothing you say here is saved or sent to us. Merrow Hill is a farm we made up.

    How a buildweek works.

Five working days, from your dream to a working first pass you can hold in your hand.

    1. Monday

      Tell us the dream.

The biggest, boldest version of it, finished: what it looks like, what it does for you, how it saves the day. Write it down and press send.

    2. Tuesday to Thursday

      We build it.

We read your words, your market and what Melbourne’s menus say about your food, then build the real thing: pages, photography direction, motion and live data where it earns its place. Nobody pitches you on the way.

      • Waffle.
      • A discovery call.
      • A sales manager who’s never built a thing.
      • A steering committee.
      • A muddled brief.
      • A clickable prototype that does nothing.

      A working build.

    3. Friday

      You get a link.

A working first pass, on your phone. Click through it, show your team, try to break it, change the words yourself. See if it’s what you dreamed.

    4. The week after

      Yes, or no hard feelings.

If it isn’t right, you owe us nothing and we wish you well. If it is, you approve it, and we finish it with you, launch it and make it better every week.

      First pass

      merrowhill.com.au

      Your call.

    By Friday you have

    • A working site on a private link, built on your real words and products.
    • Made for phones first, fast, and editable in place.
    • Your photography, or a shoot plan for it.
    • Live menu data on your dishes and produce, where it helps.

    From you, we need

    • The dream, written down.
    • Your logo and any photos you love, if you have them.
    • One person who can say yes.

    Menus area mess.

800+ Melbourne menus, read every month. We make them make sense.

    Ask them yourself.

Any dish or ingredient. See how many Melbourne menus print it and what those dishes cost, from this month’s read.

    The work offive agencies.

Five agencies, folded into one team

    Heatlamp.

The people who show you the work are the people who built it.

Your head in the clouds. Ours in the dirt.

We stay down in the work: planting the first version, tending it every week and keeping it ahead of the season, until it bears fruit.

Tell us the dream. By the end of the week you’re using the first working build, and if it’s right, we finish it with you, launch it and make it better every week.
